Yang Shi Xiang is only selling the stepper cylinders. The stepper cylinders need another computer to tell the stepper cylinders how to convert x, y, z, yaw, pitch and roll to cylinder extensions. A typical flight simulator usually updates at 25 frames per second and downloads. That means there are 40 milliseconds between upgrades. How does the stepper cylinder generate smooth transitions between points when they are 40 milliseconds apart? Maybe Yang Shi Xiang does not care because it is someone else’s problem.
The RMC 6-DOF program will calculate a smooth 5th order polynomial between the points so there is a target position, velocity and acceleration for every millisecond between the points.
The RMC can be updated as often as 100 times a second but no simulator has done that yet.
Yang Shi Xiang is only selling the stupid stepper cylinders.
I/we sell the latest technology even though in this case it is very old since 6-DOF systems have been optimized for a long time.
