Yes, the Delta RMC is much better than a Siemens PLC for motion control application.
The Siemens PLC cannot compete against a Delta RMC when it comes to hydraulic motion control.  The Delta RMC motion controller is deterministic and have control alogoritms that a Siemens PLC does not have.   PLCs are good when there are a lot of inputs and outputs and the code does not have to execute every millisecond or faster.
PLCs are good when there is a lot of inputs and outputs.

There is also a difference between the people that installed the PLCs and Delta motion controllers.  Three of the presses were commioned by Wuxi Forever.   We have spent a lot of time training Wuxi Forever engineers.  The Siemens PLC programmer could be a very good PLC programmer but he will be beat every time by a Delta trained engineer with expertise in hydraulic servo control.
