输入整形在液压控制中没有位置。输入整形适用于起重机控制,其中集装箱需要快速上下移动。输入整形在仓库中也占有一席之地,大型起重机必须搬运重物。
输入整形的优点是目标发生器可以非常简单。通常一个人控制输入。输入整形使用卷积滤波器来“整形”输入,因此在行程结束时几乎没有振荡。这有利于安全和速度。但是,卷积滤波器必须与摆动质量的固有频率一样长。这将运动延迟了固有频率的一个周期。这仍然比没有卷积滤波器快得多。在过去,熟练的操作员需要快速移动负载,而不会在目的地摆动负载。

Input shaping does not have a place in hydraulic control. Input shaping is good for crane control where containers need to be moved on and off ships quickly. Input shaping also has a place in warehouses where big cranes must move heavy loads.
The advantage of input shaping is that the target generator can be very simple. Often a person is controlling the input. Input shaping uses a convolution filter that “shapes” the input so there is little or no oscillation at the end of travel. This is good for safety and speed. However, the convolution filter must be as long as the natural frequency of the swinging mass. This delays the motion by one cycle of the natural frequency. This is still much faster than not having the convolution filter. In the past it took skilled operators to move loads quickly without the load swinging at the destination.
A hydraulic motion controller uses a target generator, feedforwards, and optimized closed loop gains that accomplish the same thing but without the delay caused by the convolution filter.
